speedtests can vary at anytime of the day, just because u can get a certain speed doesnt mean its a fixed speed throughout the day, it can vary at diff times when people are most likely to be online, hope this helps
It's also a possible coincidence of the profile being increased just before the BT test so it seemed like it was the cause. Anyway everything looks like it's running ok now.
For those struggling with speedtests at speedtest.net, they could try thinkbroadband,com as an alternative. When my download speed was 60kpbs, speedtest.net wouldn't even load, but thinkbroadband would

Also try out Numion YourSpeed if you havn't already gives you a few more statistics including your surf speed just click the Quickstart link once there. As with Thinkbroadband it uses Java.
