if you get a MAC code and use it and then call to apply 30 days notice after they won't do it.
I think that the notice period of 30 days will automatically run from
the migration date if Orange follow the agreed industry code of practice
and indeed their own terms of service. Based on my own experience
however I would recommend the following:-
1) After your account with Orange has been migrated send a recorded
delivery letter to Orange stating the date that your account has been
migrated.
Just a quick note - there will be no postal deliveries until next Thursday (11th Oct) so if you've requested a MAC code by post and can't wait, it may be an idea to call them and ask for confirmation of the code over the 'phone, or ask Orange to email to you instead
