My router is happily sitting at a sync speed of 3776kbps and an SNR margin of 16dB. From BTspeedTester, my IP Profile is 3000kbps which ties up.
When I first migrated to ADSLMax, after the initial 10-day training period, I was getting sync at around 5000kbps and SNRs around 6dB which, for a good line, ought to be what the DSLAM aims for, right?
So, maybe my line went through a dodgy period which caused the DSLAM to set my target SNR a lot higher. If I can't get this down, then I'll never sync any higher and so never get my IP profile increased.
Tell me if this is all rubbish - but who can I ask nicely at Orange to get my target SNR margin reset??
