Well according to the letter I got today, this is dying a death at the end of the year.
Now I have the opportunity to swap to Broadband Starter (upto 2meg / 2Gig limit)
for £11.99 a month.
Any idea what to expect from this. Anytime has been throttled continuously over the last year to slow it down, and the 2 hour chuck off limit has always been a PITA, but I'm not sure I want to continue with this ISP if broadband is going to be unreliable. I've stuck with dialup as surprisingly its not been too bad, albeit slow
I would say there is a very slim chance that you will have hassle free broadband with Orange and a decent connection.
Just my views, based on my own experience but then thousands of others share these headaches too - hence this site.
Obviously every company & ISP experience problems at some point and deal with them in their own way.
Orange however deal with them in a very special way known as 'not interested in you, only your money'.
There are some fantastic ISP s out there, including Idnet, Be etc who really do care for their customers.
Idnet have been fantastic in over a year being with them.
