Hope someone might be able to give me some advice on this as I can't seem to find a topic already on here that covers the problem.
Over the past couple of weeks our main PC, wired to Livebox, seems to be losing connection with the livebox, all lights are on correctly and two other laptops and a remote PC in the house have full connectivity.
If I turn off then turn back on the livebox it starts to work again within a few seconds.

Well, it sounds as if your Livebox is connected OK. Have you tried logging in to the router, and checking the status? If you're unable to log in at all then it certainly sounds as though there's a problem on your PC.
Have you possibly updated the network adapter driver (possibly from Windows update)? There was a Realtek driver update recently which showed on Windows Update, and which did cause problems of this sort. It's never a good idea to install driver updates from WUp (if you're having problems with a device, go to the manufacturers website and check for updates; if you're not, leave it alone) and, if this indeed what's happened, your best bet will be to roll back the driver.
To see if you've installed this update (or similar) go to Windows Update and check your installation history. To roll back, got to your Local Area Connection in Windows Explorer, on the "general" tab click "Configure", select "Driver" (where you'll also be able to see the date of the driver version installed) and then "Roll back driver".
Thanks for the reply, I've checked update history and there doesn't appear to be anything there relating to Realtek and I've checked date of driver version which is June '06 so that seems to rule that out.
I'll just have to see what happens, it's not a major problem more of an annoyance.

Ah, well.
Have you checked the Event Viewer to see if there are any errors which might give you a clue? Someone more knowledgeable may correct me, but I wonder if there could be an IP address conflict or something like that? It might be worth manually setting the IP addresses on all your devices to see if that makes a difference.
