guess im not the only one! signed up for only 5 days and had the usual PPP down problems after about 3 weeks of waiting still nothing and Orange customer support is a joke.... ive writted to Orange/ISPA to get my account cancelled but not holding my breathe!
Anyone got any tips on how to kick them up the arse or get account cancelled?

These problems can sometimes be cured:
PPP SERVER DOWN
This is is generally a network/exchange fault.
First re-enter your username and password.
Others have solved this by installing another router or their Speedtouch 330 modem instead of Livebox - getting a connection - disconnecting - then going back to Livebox. There are several reports of this working. It appears that the network and Livebox jam up.
Others have also solved the problem by changing the normal settings:
tried all of that a few times and i still get the same error, orange are still dragging their feet. every time i call they seem to think the problem is fixed!

Have you tried setting the rescue-modem into PPPoE protocol as well and it didn't help?
Sometimes you have first to set PPPoE, connect, then switch back to PPPoA, connect - and only if both connect fine, then you can get back your Livebox.
