I im new here and have found really interesting reading. I have now been without broadband connection for 3 weeks. I have called wanadoo/orange everyday several times a day. I have been told that they will test the line(taking several days) and then the fault colsed as they have no error their end. One day I had braodband then next i didn't. I have 512 broadband and my adsl is flashing green. I have had a new modem (eventually on the third time of asking) I have uninstalled and reinstalled I have called BT and done line checks. I have unplugged and replugged everything in I can possibly plug.......... I have een been reduced to tears in anger and frustration. I have now been referrred to second level Tech support (whatever that is !!!!) and am waiting for a call back......but guess what they didn't so i called again and they told be their was no log......now i have to wait until Sat for them to call me as that was their earliest time.....I think Im going to commit harry carry......any one got any ideas...PLEASE xxx
On the plus side Orange run a very good mobile service up here in the highlands,but on the downside you have to understand the somebody decided Orange were a good company and wanadoo were a waste of space,so knock 4 into 1 and hope for the best. Now Orange have 3 useless companies under the Orange banner.
The ad on tv featuring the wobbly bike is a good example of what wanadoo offers through Orange.
They won't call back and I was told there are 4 call centres inthe UK and I should keep ringing 0870 010 2462 until I got the right call centre.
They are rude and offensive,they cannot grasp anything and I was missold the product because they do not actually understand the product at all.
The did not ask if I had an ethernet port,they sent me the 121 g wireless adapter which does not work with win 98se,so they sent a replacement.
So I ordered on the 21/06 recieved on the 30/6 and cancelled on the 08/07 my box will be picked up by courier on monday. I have reported them to ofcom.
