That's it! I'm shut of Orange and man what a difference. BANG! my pages are loading at super speed. I'm well chuffed.
Got my MAC code over the phone, passed it to IDNET and only suffered an hour or so downtime.
My payment for this month went out on 26th June so Orange have been overpaid by me for the rest of this month. I can see them now jumping through hoops to pay me!
Apart from my kids being born this is the best feeling I've ever had, it's like getting out of jail!!!

Don't hold your breath. I requested my MAC code on 21st July and still they 'understand my concern' but can't supply the code. Have complained to the ISPA and written to complaints at Orange. What a bunch of jobsworths!! Can't wait to be free - hope you get there soon.
@jeff i too reported them to ISPA not heard anything from them yet .....but Orange just sent my MAC code at last, but they want me to pay the contract they tricked me into
Well I still have hope then!! I've followed their procedure and haven't cancelled anything yet because if they stop my account I won't have any access to pursue so I'll have to stay in their incompetent hands until I get the code. Have you had any problems with the Orange tags on the line as I see other people have? Congratulations on your freedom.
