Hi,

hope someone can help, Orange can't!

Yesterday I was on the internet then the "page can not be displayed" message came up. I turned off router, on again etc went through the basics and no change.

Odd thing (or maybe not to someone who understands this better than me) is that p2p connections - I use limewire - works absolutely fine.

My pc shows that it is connected to the internet and looks fine, and this is the same for one pc via ethernet and two wireless.

I phoned technical support and they went through the basics then got scared and asked me to phone back.

One other thing - when live messenger brought up its troubleshoot thing as it couldnt connect it gave an error message saying something about DNS being unable to do something with IP address.

Any advise?

Ok, I found a reply to someone by Elhana about entering in:
Primary 195.92.195.94
Secondary 195.92.195.95

into the Internet Protocol properties and now its working - so thank you for posting that Smile

Any reason why it would change from working from automatically detecting it to me needing to enter it in?

I was just going to suggest that as it clearly sounds like a DNS issue.

Usually the router forwards DNS requests for the PC but I've seen them go wrong on occasions. I've had to do it myself to my own systems.
