yesterday my connection suddenly dropped out a few times and then started to go mega slow.... see my speed test results
tryed calling the useless idiots at tech support...may aswell have been a recorded message as they all read from a script...very annoying not to mention how poor the phoneline was as i could hardly understand what the idiot was trying to say.
got 5 mins in to it and decided i was wasting my time and money talking to them....called customer services to cancel my contract only to be told the system is down and could i call back in a couple of hours!
what a bunch of jokers!
just to recap
1. poor service
2. poor phoneline when calling tech support
3. not real tech support just a list of stuff to try
4. expensive tech support line
5. customer services unable to let me cancel my contract
need i go on!
You're on ADSL Max, it's likely there was some problem that caused a low sync speed and as it dropped out a few times the system automatically profiled you at a much lower speed as a result.
Providing the sync speed stays high then it'll go up within 3 days. This is a normal feature of the BT system and not a fault.
