Ive written 2 complaints now to Orange made about 3 on the phone and still nothing is being done, this over a period of well, 7 months nealy.
I ordered my broadband at the end of Decemeber last year. it took roughly 4 weeks to arive. when it arived there "was a line fault" when i rung up continusouly to get them to fix it they schedulaed at least 4 line checks only 2 of which where completed. they told me i wud have to wait roughly a week for each line check to be complete only to find out it wasnt a line fault.
they then said it might be a livebox fault send me new connectors and wires and it wasnt that. they said they would get someone to come pick up the livebox but never did. fortunatley it started working in march. i had a speed of 4mb (attaintable speed of 10 is said) they said they would refund me £20 for the 4 months i hadnt had it without any hassle which is thought was good.
soon after ( afew days ) i lost internet connection again then it came back on a week later and i only had 2mbs out of attainable 10mbs.
last week i rung up to ask why i was still only getting 2mbs when i had 4 before. i was on the phone to technical support he couldnt speak hardly any english and didnt have a clue what i was asking.
i also phone the billing department to ask why i hadnt been refunded yet and i got told that they wouldnt refund me the £20 yet theyd give me £12.50 instead. there was already a note on my record to say to refund the £20 and compensate me for the time ive spent ringing up the phone calls that have costed me and the hassle.
all the complaints and phone calls ive made have never been answered and to be honist the service is awful. its on and off more than the bathroom lightswitch and it feels like im being robbed because im paying for a service that hardly works and isnt working to its full potential?

I had something similar in my case i was trying to get a MAC off them (MACS was not compulsary then) after weeks of lies i wrote to the ISPA via their Online Complaints Form after an hour i had a email off the ISPA saying its been reported to Orange 2 hours after that my MAC was in my inbox, the next day a phone call from Orange offering me free this free that i said no thank you i'm off.
Try the above route also it might help too.
