When you call they will LIE to you. Please be aware of this and never beleive them EVER........
Ive probably made around 25 calls to them, they say call back in 48 hrs while they test the line, then they it failed call back in another 48hrs.. one even said to me dont use my BT line for 48hrs while they test it !! ill just call everyone i know and tell them not to call me ????
Then they say they can see a problem then they cant ??
information they tell you doesnt seem to be logged on your file next time you call ? its like they just fob you off and not even log the complaint.
Fact is they have took on to many new customers with there free broadband offer, and there s**t equiptment & techs cant handle it,
I think they must have limited your speed somehow, because as soon as i got through and was able to order my MAC code ( not easy as they tell you more lies to try to con you in to staying, or offer you the next package up for the same price! to try and get you under a new 12 MONTH contract ) to leave, suddenly next morning back up to around 5meg ???
Ive heard this has also worked for other Orange customers ! dont know if they will actually send my MAC code out they said i should have it in 7 days!! i think the MAC just runs out if you dont use it, but ime off any way cant take no more lies from Orange.... Get out if you can mate.
Either you're on an LLU connection and the checker's not interpretting the details correctly, BT's system containing those details is somehow wrong or the checker is having problems when you tried it.
Out of interest is that screenshot of Vista made to look like XP and Firefox with an IE7 skin?
Oh and are those speeds consistant over different sites?
