Earlier this year, following almost 6 weeks of trying to get my Livebox connected, I was having major problems trying to get cancellation authorisation to close my account (which, incidentally I never did get).
Anyway, whilst trying to resolve it one day, I phoned at 10.45 to discuss the options open to me...
At exactly 11pm the guy on the phone (he sounded young and inexperienced), said, and this is the exact conversation...
Me - Can I get a refund for the two months lack of service?
Him - "We're closed now. I'm going to have to go or I will miss my transport home".
Me - "Sorry?"
Click. Bzzz... he put the phone down! My chin hit the floor!
Very professional... his actions spoke volumes for Orange's customer support!
