Can someone just tell me what the pairing mode actually does? I know its selected when connecting additional PCs, but does this mean that you can't connect another PC unless the Livebox is in pairing mode?
When in pairing mode, the livebox will accept a request to connect from a new MAC address which it then stores. When the pairing time expires, any request to connect must come from a MAC address already in the livebox's list of known adresses, otherwise connection is refused.
