I've been through the disastrous LLU process which took approximately 1 month to resolve, so I'm no stranger to the appalling Orange service. If it wasn't for the free international calls I'd drop them like a stone.
Anyway, my broadband, email etc have all been stable for a month or so until recently. I have a number of email accounts as I do a variety of freelance software work. Normally I have my email client (Thunderbird) connected to each of the various accounts to pull down mail. However on numerous occasions I have to resort to the use of webmail which can be tedious, so I foolishly set my Orange webmail to connect to my other external mail accounts so I'd only have to use one webmail.
After a couple of days I noticed I hadn't received much email and I started gettting phone calls asking "did you get my email ?, you haven't responded". It appears that every email sent to an external mail account which has been picked up by Orange webmail has disappeared without a trace. They are not in the spam folder, they haven't been bounced, there are no entries in the blocked lists, they've just vanished. After disabling Orange webmail polling external accounts everything is back to normal.
