My connection has been excellent for about a week now. Between 4/5000 mbs and dloads 244. This morning my pc either wont connect or when it does I get signal strength very low when I hover over the icon in the task bar. It was ok last night when I logged off. All the lights are solid on the livebox.
Is it a PC fault, a wireless fault or something else?
I am using the speedtouch to post this, as the wireless just times out most of the time coz it is that slow.

OK - I have set things up again and I am getting signal strength excellent now, but it wont find a new IP address for some reason when I click on repair, it just seems to hang. Are there any addresses I can use which I can put in manually?

That could be it but I cant get into 192.168.1.1, either in IE or Firefox when using the livebox. I am using the Speedtouch at the moment.
Incidentally all the lights are on and nothing flashing when I connect livebox.

I found out what the fault was.
When I re set up the wireless connection it asked me for the wep key which I inserted according to the cd cover (with the spaces) which it seemed to accept and didn't give an error message. What I forgot was that you should enter it without the spaces. I don't know what made me remember but anyway I did and it all works ok now.
