Hi
I thought I manage to get my livebox going... wireless and ethernet... but nope - everything is now 'gone'.
Ethernet says it's connected but that's it - can't even get the config page.
wireless did connect to next doors broadband but can't get that now either?!?!?!?!?!?!?
I've tried deleted the software and re-installing it BUT when I try to uninstall the flash player that stops the CD from working - it just does a 'flash' then dissapears (the listing in remove/install software via the control panel) so I can't even install the software!!!
I know that some people on this site have said don't bother with the CD but as I can't get anything to work now - What other option do I have other than throwing it all in the bin!
I'm sooo confused now that I havn't a clue what I'm doing ... obviously didn't before either?!
Anyone got a nice step by step of what to do? I really need broadband as I've signed up to a course and now I can't even start!
Right click and select properties of the local area connections,
Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click properties,
Make sure the two automatic options are selected,
Ok it and close the properties,
Right click again and go into status,
Click the support tab,
What does it show for Address type and IP address?
