Rang for a new update last night ( they told me to call in 24hrs on Saturday ) and I have great news !!
The Fault was updated on 5th June and subsequently CLOSED. The reason it was closed is because it had become a 'STUCK FAULT' i.e. could not be resolved.
SO, a new line test was carried out which resulted in a line problem and I was asked to call back in 24 - 48 hours.
Brilliant.

Hi mrriceguy. I had exactly the same experience as you - reported a problem, line test, no resolution, escalation, complaint, fault stuck so had to be closed before...they could start all over again - line test...
