They will most likely try to fob you off with some usual bull***t - it is by now pretty obvious they haven't got a clue how to solve slow speed problem

Knew I spoke too soon last night, only a minute after posting my speed on here my connecton went down until this morning...........well it was on when I got up for work.
Plus point tho Orange got me my MAC code in only 2 working days gawd luv "em.

Thought so!!! This is it a few minutes ago:

Rang again today and was told 'their engineers are working on the problem and they hope to have it sorted by May 22nd'

Well maybe by tomorrow night things will be back to normal but I'm not holding my breath! Upgraded my connection last November so will have to wait until then to move. I've been with Orange since their freeserve days back in 1997 and I may move over to Sky which seem to have good reports. Question

Getting around 0.5 mb again. Did Orange say this affected LLU and ADSL Max?

At the moment my speed is awful and I keep on getting pages failing to load at all.

However, if I log on in the morning I get 6mbs+.

Why is there nothing in any of the news sites about the Orange problems.

I'm now going to write formally to them. Even if they try and charge me the rest of my contract period, I'm off.

Until 5PM I normally get around 4MB connection every day (except weekends) but afterwards all going to down to as low as 300kbs

Much better this evening - 1700kbps down (still way off my line's 6000kbps usual maximum, though).

Funnily enough, although my line has never previously given above 6000kbps I've recorded 6,700kbps a couple of times when I've tested it before 7am recently, despite speeds being so dire in the evenings.
