I have already 2 PCs (cable)
1 laptop (wireless)
Squeezebox (cable)
TiVo (cable)
Slingbox (cable)

I use a switch for the 5 wired connections.
Now I want to connect another laptop wirelessly but the livebox will not allow any more connections. I assume this is due to the 6 computers limitation?

The 6 computers limitation is supposed to be simultaneous (sp?) wireless connections and not including or limiting wired connections at all.

Try turning off one device to be sure and then connect. If it still won't connect then it's nothing to do with a device limit.
