I have had no internet connection since the 3rd april 07. It's now the 21st April 07 and i am still being told that the engineers are still working on it. I think that you need to sack them and get people that can do the job, in less then 2 1/2 weeks! I want to leave Orange as i need the internet for work. I have been told that i need to pay £40 for my boardband, and i want to cut all my ties with Orange, so i would have to pay £416 for my mobile as it is an 18 month contract, which i had to take out to my crap boardband. Get Mr Eric Abensur to sort his staff out.
YAY i am glad that Orange came out worst.... they changed my username ffs then claimed they didn't lol when all the previous emails/letters had the old username (it was also in my 2 modems) and they "sent us our username" as though we forgot it..... which is a bit odd... but when it began to work it was good.... sh****st thing was, when it changed from wanadoo to Orange i was paying wanadoo's top package price and getting Orange's 2nd top package price which was worth £10 less per month... Odd thing is, my isp doesnt seem to be operating as Orange, the servers are not the Orange servers at all, maby they had to create another system to handle the people who were with wanadoo/freeserve and thats why my internet is running at a decent speed. (no 8 Mb/s downspeed though... the RACIST ****** do not offer it in Scotland because they claim the lines here do not support it but they do)... well anyway that sums everything up^
The internet is running fine now (not 8 Mb/s like i said) but i want to change to Be (http://www.bethere.co.uk)... Orange won't give me a migration code that ****** well works.
Its not surprising that Orang came out worst. After all ive been with them since Dec 06 adn not had a stable connection since. Keeps cutting out at various times of the day. When I ring through to Orange CS and Tech support..."THE WORST SUPPORT EVER"..."MY GRANNY COULD DO A BETTER JOB AND SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT TO DO". they keep telling me they are going to do a line check and I have to wait 24 hrs. Next day they say I have to wait a further 24hrs. Then as it happens I have to wait 5 days. When I asked for my migration code (After the watchdog program had aired) They would not give me it. they told me that it was not possible until Orange had confirmed I had a problem. "Come on I first tol;d them about the problem 6 months ago. Finally after getting through to a nice lady in the disconnections centre they pulled out all the stops to get my broadband working inly to make it even worse through the desktop line checker they have. They still refusae to give me a MAC code and even said if I wanted to use tyhe internet I would still have to pay my monthly fee and use their premium rate dial upservice or Internet cafe just to retrieve any emails.
Anyways whats bethere internet service like is it any good. Cos I dont want another X Rated ISP Like Orange?
