I yes you can keep them i still have my old freeserve address i left Orange last july although i stopped using it long before i left due to the address being overun with spam which Orange wasn't interested in doing anything about it, its still active and still full of spam lol.

So if we just leave Orange the email addresses will continue to work? If so, thats swung it for me. Get a MAC code and get the hell out i think. Hopefully that will solve things. I just don't want to go to another ISP and the same problems to still Be Broadband. I'll look like a right pleb then!
On another note Steve, whats the Be* wireless router like they give you?
I've been off Orange since December, but my fs email address is still active (and accumulating spam at a huge rate of knots). The change of email address (completely) was a good thing for me.
Now, I check the fs address once a week in case there's anything legitimate there (and there usually isn't), meanwhile, I don't receive any spam on my new addresses
I guess in the 10 or 15 years that I had the fs address it got picked up quite a lot by undesirables.

It certainly looks like its at oranges end joel but of course they will say its not.

Hope your doing fine,I only check my Freeserve address occasionally too and its just choc-a-bloc with spam its just a shame Orange don't seem to care about the spam its customers recieve because with my other email addresses i get none and never had any with them.

Well yea same here, it's full of crap but i need to keep it for at least a few months with another one set up so that i can transfer everything over.
