Hi, I have just received the new Orange livebox and got it up and running fine, and a wireless connection with my laptop and other computer. All of that works a treat now. Only, when I started the talk service and purchased a new cordless phone to use with it, I plugged it into the livebox with the adapter, but the phone light does NOT light up. If I turn the power off the phone connects to the main BT line fine, so this shows there is not a problem with the phone, cable, or adapter.
Seems like something to do with the livebox/ set up of the talk service. I did receive an email saying the talk service had been fully set up with my new phone number and ready to use. Followed all the Orange instructions to set up the talk phone but it doesnt work after trying many times.
Contacted Orange about it, all they say is try resetting the livebox and re-installing it, both of which I have done and the phone light is still not lit and the phone line dead and calls cannot be received by it.
Ohh right, well Orange havent said anything like that to me, just that it was a problem on my end I will get back in contact with them about it and see what they have to say about it. cheers, j0sh
I got my livebox, the instructions say to connect it with a phone and that the talk feature takes up to 7 days. You should then receive an email with your phone number and talk pin code.
