Looking through these threads it sounds like lots of people have had similar problems but I just set up my livebox on monday and everything was working fine for the first two days but then yesterday it suddenly went down, I've had a few brief periods of connection since then but nothing over about five minutes. I've rebooted and factory reset the livebox but it has made no difference. I've even checked the cables and tried the spare filter but still nothing and I've run out of things to try. Ne suggestions? Thanks.
Sarah
The pairing light is currently solid but has been flashing slowly and the @ light is flashing sometimes fast (about 4 times a second) and sometimes slow (about once a second). It looks to me like it's going through the sequence to connect and then failing. the @ light will start flashing quickly while the pairing light flashes slowly and then they will flash alternatley and then in unison (which I think means it's getting ready to make the connection) and then the @ light goes back to flashing quickly.
Ok. Need to verify a few things. How many extension sockets do you have. Where is the livebox connected, in an extension or in the master. Can you indicate what other equipment is connected such as phones, faxes, answer machines, Sky boxes, etc.
To isolate all of the above, go to the BT master socket and check if it has a removable plate on the botton half (held on by two screws). Removing this cover will isolate all extensions and equipment from your line. Plug Livebox directly into master test socket (Part still attached to wall). Connect livebox without a filter and see what happens and post back with your findings.
Ugh my livebox was connected when I got back from work. @ light solid. when I started using it it cut off after about 5 mins and can't get back on I only have the one BT socket which the livebox is connected to through the filter and my phone is plugged into the filter, no other equipment. I double checked and there is no removable plate like u said. How can u connect the livebox directly to the phone socket without a filter? It doesn't have the right connection to go into a phone socket.
I have the exact same problem as you Sarah. Technical support were no use, I have to wait 3 working days for a line check. I hope you get your problem solved soon.
