We received our wireless livebox package with Orange a couple of weeks ago. From the moment we got it we have had one problem after another, and have spent a fortune in phonecalls to their technical support teams.
One major problem is that everytime we try to use the internet we have to go into control panel - Administrative tools - services - Wireless Zero Configuration - click Start
Then click on the Wireless Network Connection 3 (Livebox-16FO) icon on the bottom left of the screen, which then comes up with the message REPAIR WIRELESS NETWORK CONNECTION 3. We then have to right click the Wireless Network Connection 3 (Livebox-16FO) icon and click REPAIR. We sometimes have to do this up to 3 times.
Does anybody else have this problem, or know why it is happening or how to rectify it?
Having to start wireless zero can be due to one of two causes. Either in it's properties the startup type is set to manual and not automatic or there's other software setup to take over control of your wireless. It's more likely the latter, which you'd need to remove or deactivate so windows can control it instead.
Once that's sorted it should connect automatically so there's no need to repair the connection.
