One ISP is reporting a 30 per cent increase in sign-ups since the laws regarding broadband migrations changed one month ago.
The change in the law has made it easier for people to change ISP and Madasafish claims that it has seen a massive rise in people wanting to sign up to its service as a result.
Matthew Henton, head of marketing at Madasafish said, “We applaud Ofcom's decision to enforce the MAC scheme as it gives broadband users the ability to change providers easily.

One reason for the increase in interest in Madasafish's packages was that people had suffered from poor customer service experiences at their previous ISPs.
"ISPs with poor levels of customer satisfaction were typically not providing MAC codes, or even charging for them, because they had most to lose... ISPs which consistently ignore satisfaction levels and provide poor customer service are now being punished," said Henton.
