I got all excited hearing that a few people had been activated so I tried switching off and on my livebox, guess what still no telephone. So then back into the queue to broadband support and guess what it has been escalated yet again and yet again they have no idea how long it will be. Just told to wait and I will get an email or letter when it working.
Have you signed into the member centre to see if your Talk settings are there yet?
I got my Talk activated manually yesterday. I hadn't received my Talk email after nearly a week and no settings were in the member centre, so I phoned customer support 0870 010 2462 option 1,4 and the lady put my settings in the member centre for me and after a 15 minute wait and a reboot of the Livebox I was up and running.
Also, there is now a low call number 0845 355 5531, but is only M-F & 9-5
I have signed into the members page but where do I find the setting you refer to and what setting do you mean? I have checked all the normal settings many many times with the help desk the last time I was politely told to stop ringing and wait for the call from them.
Thanks

That means they haven't started setting up your account yet - the same as I had. I then phoned Customer Support using the options I mentioned above and they set it up while I waited
Ring from your Orange mobile (if you have one) on 550. Thats seems to yield more success for people than on any other Customer service number. It worked for me within 15 minutes.
Hope for people still having problems with getting connected to the Orange talk telephone service. It took nearly 3 months but I now get the full proadband unlimited sevice and fingers crossed al is working well. While I am now very pleased with the working service I can only ask why did it take so long. I can only contrast it with my experience with DEL computers. I did have problems getting trough to them but once the problem was taken one person took control of the fault and rang with updates on the progress of the problem. With Orange the only update was every time I wrote emailed or phoned then it was only to get a " I dont Know "
