I have been now with BT for a week, Home HUB works fine, no DIS-CONNECTIONS!
I got the MAC from Orange very easily, I started conversation very firmly and got it by email the next day. waited till the switchover date when equipment arrived by delivery. I was told to wait for voicemail/email to tell me I have been switched over from Orange to BT, but around 1pm I lost Orange connection totally, so I simply installed BT Home Hub and I was surfing in 10 minutes.
Works like a dream, no disconnections at all. NOW, I can delete this OrangeProblems bookmark from my browser;-)
I am glad to hear it I say this because my switch over date (also to BT) is Tuesday 13th March, and boy these next 2 days can't come round quick enough.
Can i ask, what happens with your Wanadoo/Orange equipment, do they send you a pre-paid bag to send it back in or what? I'm refusing to send it back if they expect me to pay post&packaging. They can put a debt on my account if they want - i work for a company similar in terms of an ISP (United Utilities NW) and i know for a fact they won't take me to court over such a small debt, it would be wiped clean after several debt action letters.
