The future is bright the future is a huge cock is about to happen
But who knows maybe it will all be alright on the night Dooo
Meanwhile I for one would be satisfied with a stable broadband connection
LMAO, you got to hand it to them Orange certainly knows how to drum up income:
New Communication services !
New Infotainment services !
New Everyday Life services !
I have no doubt these services will make their way over here, because you know what? Why waste time and income on the existing services? Instead of harmonising service throughout the Orange networks giving everyone excellent speeds, they will offer new services with stunning claims which will entice in more unsuspecting customers. And judging by their current record of customer satisfaction, these new services will satisfy only a proportion of customers, whilst giving Orangeproblems.co.uk more visits .
No surprise, there will be a new 12 month contract, hence the merry-go-round continues, with more unsuspecting customers being duped. Skeptical? A load of BS?...Orange is doing this already, what makes you think they won't continue to do this? If they can't harmonise their existing services, they won't be able to harmonise future services- The Future is bright, because it shines out of Oranges ar.....nevermind
Sorry for this bumping of old thread but don't say I didn't warn ya . This is taken from a news bullitin www.thinkbroadband.com:
"Orange to launch broadband TV service later in 2007
The Orange Livebox is already used for IPTV services in France and it looks like Orange in the UK will be launching a television service over your broadband connection during 2007 according to informitv.com.
The service is expected to use a set-top box with hard-disk allowing people to record shows or download material to watch at a later date, or transfer onto other viewing devices, e.g. PC or mobile. To get around the problems of peak time viewing for some shows the device will probably combine broadcast channels (which we assume to mean Freeview content) and broadband video on demand (VoD) programming."
Notice is says later in 2007. This gives an indication of the sort of timeframe when to expect our p!ss poor speeds will be sorted. Currently, the LLU network could in noway support this service satisfactorily, therefore their game plan must be sort these speed problems out before the end of the year. Nov/Dec will be a period where there's going be a huge amount of people whose 12 months contracts are coming to an end- this is where they will make a play for these people to stop leaving with this fancy new service and most likely high speeds.
Now, the question is for you to decide. Are you happy to wait till the end of the year to get the broadband speed you expect now? Or will you leave at this time, with the appalling treatment given to you still etched on your mind?
Orange have gone on the record about the underperforming LLU network, most likely because they got the message when numerous people were showing signs of awareness regarding LLU. So, we have an admission- woohoo!, yippey!....Well I don't give a f*ck about an admission, they are only telling us what we already know, I want a f*cking SOLUTION NOW, NOT IN 10 MONTHS.
