I'm SE of London as well, and still getting disconnects at around 5-7PM (I switch the computer back on at around this time and the PPP Server just doesn't get back to me for the rest of the night.)

Since that 8MB 'upgrade' (which incidentally only gives me 2MB on a good day) my internet has been disconnecting frequently, especially in the evening, when I can connect only for it to disconnect ten ...
