Everyone on this forum seem to always use the www.speedtest.net tester which I've found produces mixed results and will sometimes give me 10+mb speeds, I think the 'think broadband' and 'bbmax' tester ...
I rang Orange and ask about this and they told me they didn't have any information about prices for these services and that they would contact us if they decide to start charging.
No probs, I'm fairly new to all this broadband fixing stuff and I've picked up a lot from this site, I hope it's going to get me through to the end of my contract in about 11months! I found this site ...
Not good is it? I wonder if it's not just Orange who have these problems and maybe changing isn't such a good idea, but I don't really think things can get any worse can they?
I can only get on a few sites, thank goodness this is one of 'em (all be it slowly). Although I can get on www.speedtest.bbmax.co.uk which tells me that i've got a download speed of 9233k!!
Hi again, I tried all the channels on the livebox for the wireless but it's still stuck around the 2.5mb mark, when I put wired back on it goes up to 6.5-7.0mb.
