I'm still having problems. Sent an e-mail to their support people. They took 3 days to come up with a useless response. Here is the e-mail I have sent back to them:
there are 7 IP-addresses that are associated with smtp.orangehome.co.uk and these same 7 IP-addresses are associated with smtp.wanadoo.co.uk, smtp.freeserve.co.uk and smtp.fsnet.co.uk.
As suggested in this forum, I have used smtp.orange.co.uk and this has worked for 3 of my customers consistently. Can't understand why Orange are not suggesting this?
This problem started happening ot me on Thursday 19th. Just out of curiosity I changed settings as suggested here (swapping from PPOA to PPOE initially, then when this stopped working changed MTU sett ...
The problem of e-mailing is definately one that can be laid at Orange's door. Sending via my Orange e-mail works, but only very sporadically, sometimes not at all for days on end.
