Just been looking at Nildram. As they're owned by Pipex they've just (underhandedly) started traffic shaping so p2p and newsgroup downloads become increasingly slow.
Due to my problems I bought a domain (basically the same name as my freeserve account without the freeserve bit) and have been using that email address instead - makes changing ISP easier.
