PS I was hurrying because my son wanted to use the computer, so I forgot to say that the phone light on the Livebox is lit up - but I cannot get the phone to work!
For a long, long time now (at least a year, possibly much longer!) the phone-line from my Livebox has not been working. I assumed that the phone itself had gone wrong - and just never got around to lo ...
