I too had problems receiving emails starting at the same time, which I've traced to a change in the envelope-to field on the email header. Check my post, it may give you a steer.

No it's not me its Orange. The envelope-to in the internet headers for the mail being forwarded has changed from my freeserve address to the domain address. Pre late august

Looks like its not Vista or Orange but me. Don't remember changing mail settings, but fixed the problem by removing the user@ part of the Email user name on the incoming mail server for the account.
