Try the billion 7800N if you have a broadcom LLU, which I think you said you have. For easynet, i.e. connexant, the billion 7402NX is highly recommended.
After finding out that the Sky llu was actually in fact an easynet LLU and that the broadcom router Sky supplied would be better served by a conexant router, I purchased the Billion 7402NX ...
Latest is that because Orange moved me down to an BTIPStream product yesterday, the MAC code which I provided 2 weeks ago became invalid, so the change over to Sky broadband could not occur!!!!
Sounds a good idea, I may bring my DGN3500 back online if I can get 14 meg down from it, cannot tweak it. The reason like you for tweaking the DGN2000 was to lower the 10dB to 6db while on Orange.
Does the DGTeam firmware on the DGN2000 not allow you to tweak the profile on Sky broadband. I have mine running at 6dB on Orange at the moment. Have you not seen how low you can go just out of curios ...
tinytime, any updates?
Did you get your Sky router sent out?
What are your stats like now?
Also have you managed to set up your own router with the username/password hack and if so any improvements ...
